This 7-day journey combines a moderate trek with the spiritual experience of Hemkund Sahib. Wander through streams, waterfalls, and forests, with breathtaking views of Nanda Devi and Rataban. Ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and adventure seekers.

✨ Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Haridwar/Rishikesh – Joshimath/Govindghat (Drive approx 250 km / 8 hrs)

Pickup from Haridwar/Rishikesh early morning. Drive along Alaknanda through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Joshimath. Reach Govindghat by evening; check into hotel. Overnight in Govindghat.

Day 2
Govindghat – Ghangaria (Trek 13 km / 5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, begin the gradual ascent along the Laxman Ganga. Pass through pine forests, waterfalls, and small villages. Arrive at Ghangaria, the base camp for both Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Overnight in camps/guesthouse.

Day 3
Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria (Trek 5 km one way)

Enter the national park after checkpost. Walk through a carpet of alpine flowers beside the Pushpawati river. Explore the valley for 3–4 hours, spot rare blooms and glaciers. Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay.

Day 4
Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (Trek 6 km one way)

Steep but scenic climb to Hemkund Sahib (4,329m), a revered Sikh gurudwara on a glacial lake. Visit Laxman temple nearby. Descend back to Ghangaria in the afternoon. Rest and dinner.

Day 5
Ghangaria – Govindghat – Badrinath (Trek down + drive 25 km)

Descend to Govindghat by noon. Drive to Badrinath, one of the Char Dhams. Evening visit Badrinath temple and hot springs. Overnight in Badrinath.

Day 6
Badrinath – Rudraprayag/Srinagar (Drive approx 160 km)

Morning aarti at Badrinath temple. Drive along the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers, visiting Joshimath and Narsingh temple en route. Arrive Rudraprayag/Srinagar by evening. Overnight.

Day 7
Rudraprayag/Srinagar – Haridwar/Rishikesh departure

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar/Rishikesh via Devprayag. Drop at railway station / bus stand by 5 PM with unforgettable memories of the Himalayas.
