Early morning departure from Rishikesh. Drive along the sacred Alaknanda river through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Chamoli. Reach Joshimath by evening. Check into guest house, acclimatization walk. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Auli (famous ski resort). Begin the trek to Gorson Bugyal β a vast high-altitude meadow. Walk through oak and conifer forests with views of Nanda Devi and Dronagiri. Overnight in camps at Gorson (3,050m).
A long and rewarding day crossing the Kauri Pass (3,650m). The climb offers stunning 360Β° views of Nanda Devi, Kamet, Trishul and other peaks. Descend through birch and rhododendron forest to Tali camp. Bonfire and overnight in tents.
Descend through dense forests to Auli roadhead. Drive back to Joshimath. Visit the ancient Narasimha temple and Shankaracharya Math. Rest and warm dinner at guest house.
After breakfast, depart for Rishikesh. Stop at Dhari Devi temple and Devprayag for photos. Reach Rishikesh by evening; trip ends with drop at your preferred location.
